Universal Dental Laboratory founded by Silvia has been renowned for outstanding aesthetics and quality of ceramic restorations, producing the most harmonious restorations. She had been mentored for over a decade by Barry Smith, one of the legends and pioneers of the Australian dental industry. Silvia takes inspiration from shapes, shades, and textures of natural dentition and approaches every case as individual. She uses her artistic flare and 20 years of experience in her beloved profession to breathe life into ceramic restorations.

Silvia gained a Dental Technician qualification in Croatia in 1998. After completing her apprenticeship she moved to London to further her career in dentistry as a Dental Ceramist. After two years she moved to Auckland NZ where she got an amazing opportunity to work in a high-end lab. Silvia has been living in Melbourne since 2003. She spent over 20 years working as a Senior Ceramist for one of the leading dental laboratories based in Melbourne CBD. She's an obsessed plant lover, a photographer enthusiast, an avid cake maker, a keen gym goer, but above all a mum.
